“I make clothes for people who want to feel like fairies. I bring a lot of my childhood inspiration into my work. I’m heavily inspired by the fantastical world of Cecily Mary Barker and the feminine fantasy.

I’m an advocate for slow fashion. All of my work is hand made in my Hertfordshire atelier.

My craft is constantly evolving as I explore, discover and play with new and interesting mediums.

Lately I’ve been working with natural rubber latex to create wearable tapestries, exploring figure, form and a 2000’s take on 60’s aesthetic.”

William Frederik Henderson is a British designer working in costume, craft, and couture. From training in musical theatre at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, his love for storytelling has developed into creating sculptured wearable art, fashions, and characters for stage, screen, and runway.

William F. Henderson has quickly become distinctive for its striking silhouettes and fantastical stories. His work blends a unique exploration of identity and playful maximalism, with an expert understanding of traditional and contemporary craft techniques to produce work of sophisticated, high-end, quality.

His work has featured on the likes of Rupaul’s Drag Race, The Real Housewives of London, London Fashion Week, Cold Magazine, the West End, and Broadway.
